The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

U.S. 50 near Mustang Road

Madeline R. Cronin, 31, of Springfield, Mo., sideswiped a westbound 2006 Buick passenger car, driven by Lawrence D. Drinnen, 64, 612 Elm St., Peabody, on U.S. 50 at 11:05 a.m. July 30. She was driving a 2005 Hyundai passenger car. Gloria Drinnen was a passenger in the Buick. No one was injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

K-15 at milemarker 140

A deer was struck on K-15 by a 2002 Toyota passenger car, driven by Clyde L. Jost, 52, 2156 K-15, Hillsboro, at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 2. Jost was not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

U.S. 56 near milemarker 303

Debris on U.S. 56 caused an accident at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 2. Sabrina Carson, 22, 207 Lombard St., Lincolnville, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu and could not avoid hitting the object. Emma J. Carson, 2, the same address as the driver, was a passenger.

No one was injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

290th Road near Kanza Road

Donald D. Hasenbank, 56, 3347 Chisholm Trail Rd., Tampa, was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup on 290th Road at 8 p.m. Aug. 8, when a deer came from a ditch and was struck. Althea D. Hasenbank, 56, the same address as the driver, was a passenger. Althea Hasenbank had possible injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Remington Road near 230th Road

A deer was struck by a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Thomas M. Rudolph, 57, Hope, at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 on Remington Road. Rudolph was not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

Sunflower Road near 110th Road

A 1998 Dodge Caravan, driven by Zayne M. Hix, 16, Bentley, went through a ditch and struck a road sign when Hix swerved to avoid striking a deer on Sunflower Road at 12:15 a.m. Aug. 10. Passengers were Colby Hunton, 16, Sedgwick; Landon S. Brandt, 16, Newton; and Zachary Smalling, 15, Bentley. The vehicle was registered to Angela Hix, the same address as the driver.

The passengers were not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

K-15 near Goessel

Steven D. May, 58, 2040 N. Quail Creek Rd., Marion, was driving a 1998 Saturn passenger car on K-15 at 5:30 a.m. Aug. 11, when a deer came from a ditch and was struck. The vehicle was registered to Melissa J. Stubenhoffer, the same address as the driver. May was not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

U.S. 56-77 near 310th Road

A 1999 Ford passenger car rolled on its top off U.S. 56-77, when Joey A. Brunner, 28, 2737 Remington Rd., Marion, swerved to miss a deer, losing control of the vehicle, and causing the vehicle to slide sideways, coming to rest on its top. The vehicle was registered to Traci Brunner, the same address as the driver.

Brunner was not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

150th Road near Falcon Road

A deer was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Betty J. Kline, 78, Newton, on 150th Road at 8 a.m. Aug. 13. Kline was not injured. There was more than $1,000 in damages.

Lakeshore Drive near 170th Road

Amy L. Smith, 35, 410 S. Thorp St., Marion, was backing in a parking area off Lakeshore Drive, Marion County Lake, in a 2005 Dodge Caravan at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and struck a trash Dumpster. Abby Smith, 13, the same address as the driver, was a passenger.

There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
