The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

U.S.-56 near Nighthawk Road:

Robert L. Peterson, 57, Gypsum, was southbound on U.S.-56 near Nighthawk Road in a 1998 Plymouth Voyager van at 11 p.m. March 7, when the van hit a large patch of hail that was on the road, causing the driver to lose control, entering a west ditch. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Matt Vogt reported no injuries and less than $1,000 in damages.

210th Road near Pawnee Road:

Todd B. Becker, 32, 2135 Kruse Drive, Marion, was eastbound on 210th Road near Pawnee Road in a 1998 Chevy S-10 pickup at 9:58 p.m. March 8, when a cow came from a north ditch and was struck. Deputy Vogt reported the driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages.

290th Road near Remington Road:

Nickalas T. Cole, 19, 1560 320th, Tampa, was westbound on 290th Road near Remington Road in a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier at 6:40 a.m. March 26 when a deer came from a north ditch and was struck. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Duane McCarty reported the driver was not injured and more than $1,000 in damages.
