The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

D and Main streets, Hillsboro:

Two vehicles collided at 12:15 p.m. July 22. According to police, a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Adrienne M. Voss, 31, of Zuni, N.M., had stopped at the intersection but pulled in front of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Desiree Schantelle Younker, 20, Liberal.

Michelle Swank, 25, of 214 S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, and Sienna Marie Jimenez, 3, Liberal, were passengers in the Trailblazer, which was registered to Robert Lango Perkins of Liberal.

200 block of North Main Street, Hillsboro:

A driver damaged the south side of Central National Bank, about 8:30 a.m. July 23, leaving a two-foot hole in the building. Lee Michael Sorenson, 22, of 207 E. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, had driven his 2001 Ford F-250 pickup to the automatic teller machine and exited through the drive. Police said he thought his pickup had hit a curb, not the building.

100 block of East Grand Avenue, Hillsboro:

Amber Lynn Williams, 16, of 317 S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was backing from a parking stall at 1:05 p.m. July 23 when her 1993 Buick Century struck a 2002 Buick Century, driven by Esther Eunice Wiebe, 81, of 402 S. Wilson St., Hillsboro. The 1993 Buick was registered to Diana Kay Williams of the Ash Street address.

Jefferson Street near Grand Avenue, Hillsboro:

A parked 1992 Chevrolet was struck on the driver’s side between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. July 29. The car was registered to Diana Mae Holub, 516 N. Freeborn St., Marion.

400 block of West D Street, Hillsboro:

Brent Michael Sanders, 36, of 210 W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, was backing from a parking stall at 5:11 p.m. July 31 when his 1996 Chevrolet pickup struck a 2008 Honda owned by Benjamin J. Wiebe, 309 S. Cedar St., Hillsboro, that was parked in the lot. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000.

Bluestem Road near 280th Road:

A 1998 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jason Hevelka, 23, Overland Park, struck the rear of a 1990 Nissan pickup driven by Eric Peterson, 23, Overland Park, after Peterson had slowed to cross a low-water bridge at 8:40 a.m. Aug. 2, police said.

There were no injuries. Both vehicles were registered to Marvin E. Peterson, 601 N. Newton St., Lincolnville. There was more than $1,000 in damages.
