These accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

2800 block of K15

Luis Hindman, 26, Haysville, broke a railroad crossing guard crossbar at 6:40 p.m. Aug. 7 when he was northbound on K-15 and realized there was a train crossing the highway. He applied the brakes of his 2010 Dodge Avalon and steered the vehicle to the right, striking the crossbar and knocking it off, as he drove into the railway’s right of way and into a ditch. The vehicle’s windshield was broken. Eraclio Diaz, 26, Junction City, Ali Rajabi, 26, and Anne Cyboron, 29, both of Wichita, were passengers. No injuries were reported.

US 50, east of Limestone Road

Janelle Stockman, 48, 901 N. Vine St., Peabody, struck a deer at 9 p.m. Aug. 3. Stockman was eastbound on US 50 in her 2002 Toyota pickup when the deer entered the roadway and she could not avoiding hitting the animal.

Old Mill Road, south of 60th Road

James Boldenow Jr., 29, Walton was transported by LifeTeam to Wesley Medical Center Aug. 8 after the truck he was driving hit a bridge rail and rolled onto the driver’s side. He was driving south on Old Mill Road at 4:09 p.m. in a 1987 International truck when the right front tire went off the road. The driver overcorrected, sending the vehicle into a ditch where it struck the bridge. Boldenow was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

US 50, west of Alfalfa Road

A family of four escaped injury Aug. 7 when the car they were in flipped one and a half times and landed on its roof. The driver, Joshua Thomas, 17, Johnstown, Pa., went left of center and off the roadway while westbound on US 50, just west of Alfalfa, at 10:35 a.m. in a 1992 Toyota Camry registered to one of the passengers. The vehicle slid sideways after entering the shoulder then flipped. Passengers Sarah Thomas, 26, Anna Thomas, 53, and Elizabeth Thomas, 3, of the same address as the driver, were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, as was the driver.

1600 block of K-15

Jesus Arzate, 27, Hutchison, fell asleep while southbound on K15 near 170th Road at noon, Aug. 11. After the 1999 Ford pickup he was driving went onto the west shoulder, the driver overcorrected, causing the truck to cross the roadway and enter the east ditch, striking the right front wheel in the ditch and spinning the vehicle around. The truck was registered to Jamey Lynn Benbrock, of the same address as the driver. No injuries were reported. Arzate was wearing his seat belt.
