These accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

200 block West Grand Avenue, Hillsboro

Stewart Anthony Bichet II, 42, Hillsboro, backed into a 1999 Dodge van driven by Tesha Renee Werth, 33, Hillsboro, with his 2005 Chevrolet van at 3:37 p.m. Aug. 8. Bichet backed up, not seeing Werth’s vehicle behind him, while stopped eastbound at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Ash Street. Teegan Elizabeth Werth, 9, was a passenger in Werth’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

300 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro

Jonathan Christopher Nesser, 21, Florence, rear-ended Wanda Fay Dush, 55, Hillsboro, with a 2009 Toyota at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 3 while Dush was stopped facing south waiting to turn into the Casey’s General Store parking lot in her 2002 Buick. Dush was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Nighthawk Road

Kortney Renae Foth, 16, Peabody, rolled the vehicle she was driving at 5:31 p.m. Aug. 13. Foth was northbound on Nighthawk Road in a 2000 Mitsubishi, registered to Rebecca Larsen, when her front tire went off the shoulder of the road. She overcorrected and rolled the car. No injuries were reported.

U.S. 56, west of Sunrise Road

Darlene L. Myer, 54, York, Neb., struck a black calf in the westbound lane of U.S. 56 at 4 a.m. Aug. 12, 60 feet west of the intersection with Sunrise Road. Myer was unable to avoid hitting the calf. Charles D. Wetzel of York, Neb., was a passenger. No injuries were reported.

U.S. 56, at Holly Road

Scott Paul Neufeld, 29, Hillsboro, turned in front of Mark Allen Harris, 48, Hutchinson, while turning left onto Holly Road from U.S. 56 at 2:31 p.m. Aug. 13. Harris struck the passenger side of Neufeld’s 2002 Chrysler with the 2002 Subaru he was driving. Neufeld’s vehicle rolled onto its top, and Harris’ vehicle spun after impact. Sharon Hinton, 59, Hutchinson, was a passenger in the Subaru. Neufeld and Harris were taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hinton was taken by Marion ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

K-150, west of Zebulon Road

Troy A. Torrance, 40, Emporia, was unable to avoid hitting a cow in the roadway on K-150 at 4 a.m. Aug. 10. He was driving a 2002 Sterling registered to Wholesale Emporia Coffee. No injuries were reported.

Zebulon Road, north of 300th Road

Jade Nicole Sheridan, 27, Herington, swerved to miss a deer at 3 a.m. Aug. 14 while driving north on Zebulon Road. She lost control of the vehicle, went into a ditch, and hit some trees with her 2001 BMW. No injuries were reported.
