Old Mill Road north of 20th Road

Bethany Gwinup-Seaton, 27, 303 N. Locust, Peabody, hit a coyote driving north on Old Mill Road at 11:20 a.m. Thursday. She was driving her 2009 Dodge.

Indigo Road South of 120th Road

A 2001 Daewoo registered to Judy Bickford, Box 41, Ramona, struck a deer driving in the 1100 block of Indigo Road at 6:25 a.m. Thursday. The car was towed after the accident.

Vista Road South of 310th Road

Logan Troutt, 16, 103 E. Main Lincolnville, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch while driving on Vista Road at 2:08 p.m. Oct. 19. Troutt and passenger Samuel Woods were transported by Marion County EMS by 2:59 p.m. to Herington Hospital. Another passenger, James Woods, was transported by Dickinson County EMS by 3:10 p.m. to Herington Hospital. Troutt was driving his 1998 Ford.

Nighthawk Road south of 120th road

Scott Proffitt, 40, 1984 N. Adams, Hillsboro, struck a deer while driving south on nighthawk road at 5:44 p.m. Oct 21. Jennifer Proffitt, 37 of the same address, and Paige Proffitt, 12, of the same address were passengers. Scott Proffitt was driving his 2004 Chevrolet.

190th Road west of Nighthawk Road

Justin Youk, 48, 500 N. 3rd, Marion, struck a deer while driving west on 190th Road at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. He was driving his 2006 Chrysler.

U.S. 77 south of 360th Road

Jillian Donovan, 23, Wichita, struck a deer while driving south on U.S. 77 at 5 p.m. Oct. 15. She was driving her 2010 Pontiac.

U.S. 77 south of mile marker 98

James Nolan, 37, 710 N. A. St., Herington, struck David Dvorak, 59, Andover, when reentering U.S. 77 and crossing into the northbound lane 2:28 p.m. Oct. 23. Nolan stated in the report that he attempted to pull his 2008 Nissan over after he blew a tire but he lost control of the vehicle. Dvorak’s passenger, Susan Dvorak, same address, was transported by helicopter at 3:12 p.m. to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. David Dvorak and Nolan were transported by 3:23 p.m. to St. Luke Hospital by Marion County EMS. David Dvorak was driving a 2009 Saturn registered to Susan Dvorak.

180th Road East of U.S. 77

Robert Shippy, 49, 1779 190th Road, Marion, backed into Ralph Zeller, 73, 2592 180th, Marion, driving a road grader south on 180th Road 2:05 p.m. Oct. 18. The road grader is owned by Marion County. Zeller was driving his 2002 Ford.

900 block of Indigo Road

Karl Sechrist, 44, 305 S. Ash, Hillsboro, struck a deer driving north on Indigo Road at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 20. Sechrist was driving his 2000 Toyota.

Third Street east of Lincoln, Hillsboro

Kimberly Funk, 23, 205 E. Kansas St., Lehigh, drove off of Third Street onto a vacant lot, accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, and struck a tree at 9:20 a.m. Oct. 18. Funk stated that she was reaching for her cell phone when the accident occurred. Dayton Hoskinson, 4, of the same address, was a passenger in the vehicle; he was transported by a personal vehicle to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Funk was transported by Hillsboro ambulance by 9:46 a.m. to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Funk was driving a 2003 Chevrolet registered to Vernon Funk, PO Box 115, Lehigh.

200 block of Willow east of Ash, Hillsboro

An unknown vehicle backed into the driver’s side door of a driverless and legally parked vehicle at 10:06 p.m. Oct. 18 on the curve of Willow Road adjacent to street accessible parking for the Parkside Homes offices. The parked vehicle, a 200 Toyota, is registered to Karl and Brenda Sechrist, 305 S. Ash St., Hillsboro.
