U.S. 77 south of 350th Road

Joshua Klarmann, 20, 11017 NE 72nd St., Peabody, fell asleep driving south on U.S. 77 at 7:41 Feb. 1. He awoke and realized he was heading into an east ditch; he over corrected and crashed a 2001 Volvo passenger car, registered to George Klarmann, Jr., 518 N. Terrace Dr., Wichita, in the west ditch. The car overturned two and half times. The driver was transported to Herington Hospital by Tampa Ambulance by 8:31 p.m.

110th Road south of U.S. 50

Iva Britton, 62, 118 Doyle Road, Florence, rear-ended William Robinson, 77, 2335 110th Road, Florence, while driving on 110th Road at 11:40 a.m. Jan. 28. Edna Robinson, 74, same address, was a passenger in a 1988 Chevrolet pickup truck registered to William Robinson. Britton was driving her 2005 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

U.S. 56 west of Indigo Road

James Johnson, 31, 23110 Hwy B, Sedalia, Mo., was driving eastbound on U.S. 56 in Hillsboro at 11:04 a.m. Jan. 19 when he struck David Krause, 64, 1441 Pawnee Road, Marion. Johnson driving his 1999 International tractor-trailer truck failed to see Krause, who was driving a Case tractor, registered to Ron Bartel, 949 U.S. 56, Hillsboro. Johnson tried to swerve around Krause but he struck Krause with the trailer of the truck. Krause was taken by LifeTeam Helicopter to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by 11:35 a.m.

200 block of South Adams Street, Hillsboro

Willis Herbel, 81, 206 Elm St., Hillsboro, struck Stephanie Sinclair, 46, 215 W. Willow Glen Lane, Hillsboro, while attempting to turn west at 9:35 p.m. Jan. 31. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Herbel was driving his 1999 Ford passenger car. Sinclair was driving her 2008 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle.

314 N. Ash Street, Hillsboro

Cassie L Britton, 40, 919 N. Maple St., McPherson struck a parked car in the Casey’s convenience store parking lot at 3:40 p.m. Feb. 5. Britton was driving her 1999 Honda four-door passenger car. The parked car, a 2005 Ford four-door sport utility vehicle, was registered to Wilford Hanna, 305 S. Main St., Hillsboro.

Tabor College Parking lot, Hillsboro

Matthew Wallace, 19, 5237 Shady Maple Dr., Kingwood, Texas, struck a parked car in the Tabor College parking lot at 4 a.m. Feb. 1. The report by David Funk states that Wallace drove his 2002 Ford pickup truck into the 2000 Lexus passenger car, moving the Lexus up onto a parking curb. The Lexus is registered to Bernard Ugochukwu, 2608 Potomac Dr., Flower Mound, Texas. The license plate of Wallace’s vehicle was lodged into the back of the Lexus after Wallace left the scene. Wallace was issued tickets for leaving the scene and failing to report the accident.
