Leslie W. Hopkins, 48, 210 W. 4th St., Ramona, struck a parked trailer with her 1992 Ford pickup at 2 a.m. Aug. 11. A breath test for alcohol showed a blood alcohol content of 0.217. Hopkins was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Amy J. Husman, 33, 1824 60th Rd., Peabody, struck a deer then went into a ditch and hit a fence, a gas line, and three gas meters with a 2011 Ford sedan registered to Zachary L. Husman, same address. No injuries were reported. The car had to be towed.
