Hillsboro police

Dedra S. Hoskinson, 51, 412 S. Main St., Hillsboro, collided with Makenzie Lee King, 21, 3765 Limestone Mesa, Schertz, Texas, at the intersection of A and Main Sts. at noon Sept. 25. Hoskinson was driving a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. King’s 1999 Oldsmobile had to be towed. No injuries were reported.

Park Ave. west of Park Place, Hillsboro

While pulling out of a parking space, Marlene Ann Fast, 56, of 116 S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, backed into a parked 2006 Chevrolet sedan owned by Valeree Robin Hett, 630 S. Merchant St., Apt. C, Emporia, at 9 a.m. Sept. 28. Fast was driving her 2006 Ford pickup.

Michael Paul Benda, 44, of 2116 300th Rd., Lincolnville, struck and killed a deer with his 2009 Dodge pickup at 6:50 a.m. Thursday.

170th Rd. east of Diamond Rd.

Eric S. Unruh, 39, of 1627 Diamond Rd., Hillsboro, was driving his 1989 Ford tractor when it caught fire at 5:47 p.m. Thursday. The tractor and 12 round hay bales it was hauling were all destroyed. The vehicle had to be towed.
