These accidents were reported this week by Marion County law enforcement agencies.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

U.S. 50 east of U.S. 77

Melissa Parmley, 34, of 2972 190th Road, Cedar Point, hit a coyote with her 2009 GMC Acadia at 9 p.m. Dec. 27. Damage to the SUV’s undercarriage was reported.

Nighthawk Road at 90th Road

A 1994 Ford Thunderbird rear-ended a 1989 Dodge R15 pickup as it was turning left at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 28.

The Thunderbird’s driver, David Denardi, 44, of 501 N. Elm St., Peabody, did not see the Dodge, driven by Rodney Voth, 63, of 313 S. Date St., Hillsboro, in time, deputies reported.

Sharon Denardi, 39, of the same address was a passenger in the Thunderbird. No injuries were reported. Neither vehicle required a tow.

U.S. 56 north of 230th Road

Jay E. Pontious, 76, of 2467 300th Road, Lincolnville, struck a deer with his 2003 Ford Ranger at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 29. Pontious was able to drive his car from the scene.

Grand Oaks Apartments parking lot

A 1999 Dodge SUV driven by Tamera L Fuffield, 50, of 506 W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, slid and struck a parked pickup owned by Meliza F. Janice, 2158 Scholotthauer St., Marion, at 1:19 p.m. Dec. 24.

Adams and D Sts.

A 1987 Volvo station wagon driven by James K. Jantzen, 64, of 205 S. Adams St., Hillsboro, struck a 2000 Ford pickup driven by Gordon M. Reiswig, 56, of 114 S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, at 9:20 a.m. Friday turning left after Jantzen had stopped at a stop sign. Police reported no injuries.
