Jerico Franklin Meyer, 34, of 105 S. Lombard St., Lincolnville, drove his 1985 Chevrolet pickup into a ditch while attempting to turn onto Vista Rd. at 12:05 a.m. Feb. 16. Police reported no injuries. The vehicle had to be towed.

Nighthawk Rd. south of 180th Rd.

Linferd P. Funk, 74, of 1750 Mustang Rd., Hillsboro, drove off the roadway and rolled his 2004 International semi-truck at 2:14 p.m. Feb. 19. He was injured and was transported by Life Team helicopter to Wesley Medical Center. The truck was towed.

Sunflower Rd. north of 90th Rd.

Mary Elizabeth Gott, 55, of 109 N. Maple St., Peabody, drove over an ice patch, lost control, and hit a pasture fence with her 1995 Chevrolet sedan at 9:40 a.m. Thursday. Police reported no injuries.

Deer strikes

Ronald E. Unruh, 80, of 455 320th Rd., Durham, struck and killed a deer with his 2013 Ford sport utility vehicle at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16 on Diamond Rd. north of 310th Rd.

Kimberly Lynn Ryff, 34, of 2436 Quail Creek Rd., Marion, struck a deer with a 2006 Ford sport utility vehicle at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 19 on 340th Rd. west of Sunflower Rd.

Jane A. Weber, 60, of 2836 190th Rd., Marion, struck a deer with her 2005 Volvo sedan at 7:10 a.m. Thursday when several deer crossed U.S. 77 south of 140th Rd.
