Jeffrey G. Liebegott, 35, 415 S. Ash St., Apt. 5, Hillsboro, lost control on loose gravel, went into a ditch, and was thrown over the handlebars of his 2006 Honda motorcycle at 5:35 p.m. May 6. He was taken by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital with possible injuries.

Nighthawk Rd. south of 180th Rd.

Caleb Bradley Alan Barkman, 25, 608 E. C St., Hillsboro, tried to plug in his mobile phone while driving, crossed the centerline, and struck a guardrail with a 1997 Ford pickup registered to Artesian Honey Producers Inc., 120 Santa Fe St., Hillsboro, at 11:10 p.m. May 9. Police reported no injuries. The vehicle had to be towed.

Deer strikes

Amanda Sue Pontious, 31, 5820 W. Irio Bronsan Highway, Kissimmee, Fla., struck a deer with a 2014 Chevrolet sedan registered to Rental Car Riannce Corp., 568 N. Madrid Ave., Kansas City, Mo., at 10 p.m. May 9 on Remington Rd. south of 240th Rd.

Robyn L. Campbell, 47, 2106 S. Golden Hills St., Wichita, struck and killed a deer with her 2001 Jeep sport utility vehicle at 10:21 p.m. May 10 on K-15 north of 110th Rd.
