Durham Cove Rd. near Kanza Rd.

A 2008 Dodge and a 2010 Toyota collided while rounding a curve at 2:29 p.m. June 5. Deputies reported no injuries to drivers Travis L. Wilson, 35, of 406 Peabody Ave., Peabody, and Franklin L. Morey, 48, of 1883 Falcon Rd., Hillsboro.

U.S. 77 and 20th Rd.

Both drivers were taken to hospitals after a 1998 Chevrolet and a 2001 Chrysler collided at 5:17 a.m. June 7. Deputies said Shelley Annette Cain, 44, of 117 Nickerson St., Burns, ran a stop sign on 20th Rd. in her Chevy while Trinity Joseph Snyder, 32, of 320 S. Thorp St., Marion, was southbound on U.S. 77 in her Chrysler.

Deer strikes

Ricky L. Erickson, 59, of 516 Logan Terrace, Chapman, struck and killed a deer with his 2008 Toyota at 10 p.m. June 7 on U.S. 56/77 south of 270th Rd.

John Christian Brian, 29, of 6758 Burnside Loop Apt. 6, Fort Riley, struck and killed a deer with his 2014 Nissan pickup at 9:20 p.m. June 8 on U.S. 56/77 north of 240th Rd. The deer bounced off the hood of Brian’s pickup and struck a 2000 Dodge van driven by Jennifer K. Maneth, 56, of 615½ N. Main St., Ellinwood. Police reported no injuries, but Brian’s vehicle had to be towed.
