According to accident reports released Friday:

SHERIFF

Remington Rd. and railroad tracks.

Tyler Wildin, 19, of Marion, flipped his Chevrolet truck at 1:25 a.m. on July 20 after overcorrecting after trying to beat a train at the crossing guards. Wildin was able to drive home and reported the accident the following morning.

110th and Jade Rds.

Diana Howell and a passenger were taken to the hospital July 21 after her Mercury Sable collided with a John Deere tractor driven by James Wiens, 20, of Hillsboro, and owned by Wayne Wiens while traveling west on Jade Rd.

James Wiens was traveling west on 110th Rd. when he failed to give Howell’s vehicle the right of way. The Mercury struck the tractor in the right rear tire.

Deputy Travis Wilson reported that neither driver saw the other coming.
