According to law enforcement reports released Monday:
Sheriff
US-77 north of Wagonwheel Rd.
Ashley Rankin, 23, Wichita, reportedly overcorrected her 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier after leaving the shoulder of the road, causing the vehicle to roll at 1:40 a.m. March 25. No injuries were reported.
K-15 north of 240th Rd.
A 1999 Ford F25 driven by Ervin Hein, 60, Hillsboro, struck a deer at 9:20 p.m. March 25.
K-15 south of 190th Rd.
A 2012 Ford Eclipse driven by Karin Pettross, 68, Hillsboro, struck a deer at 6:30 p.m. March 28. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
190th Rd. west of Nighthawk Rd.
Cynthia Ellis, 39, Florence, struck a deer with her 1999 Ford Explorer at 5:50 a.m. March 28. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Hillsboro
A 1993 Ford Ranger owned by Funk’s Supply driven by, Lester Funk, 71, Hillsboro, and a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by Jeraldine Klose, 81, Hillsboro, collided at 8:38 a.m. Friday at the intersection of D and Lincoln Sts.
Police reports said Klose cited the sun’s glare for the reason she did not see the Ranger when she attempted to turn into a parking lot across the flow of traffic.
