According to law enforcement reports released Friday:
US-56/77 north of 250th Rd.
A 2005 GMC Sierra driven by Laverne Bina, 74, Marion, was southbound on US-56/77 while pulling a Parker 2500 grain cart when a 2015 Isuzu I-Mark driven by Eddie Nelson, 54, Lees Summit, attempted to pass but struck the auger on the grain cart at 3:02 p.m. Oct. 12.
Indigo Rd. south of 180th Rd.
A 2013 Dodge Caravan driven by Linda Allen, 69, Hillsboro, struck a deer at 10:05 a.m. Oct. 13.
Nighthawk Rd. north of US-50
A 2008 Ford Edge driven by Jeanine Becker, 47, Peabody, and owned by Randall Hoyt, Wichita, struck a deer at 8 p.m. Oct. 16.
US-56 north of 260th Rd.
A 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Erin Keith, 21, Ft. Riley, struck a deer at 7:43 a.m. Oct. 15.
US-56 east of K-15
A 2008 Mazda CX7 driven by Jenna Swortwood, 28, Buhler, struck the back of a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Erin Miesse, 32, Marion, at 9:20 a.m. Oct. 19 while in a line of vehicles that slowed down for agricultural equipment going down US-56. A passenger in Swortwood’s vehicle, Jessica Trapp, 25, Marion, was taken by county ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Swortwood’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
K-15 south of 230th Rd.
A 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Nathan Bartel, 17, Hillsboro, was traveling north on K-15 when the driver reported the rear tire blew out, causing the wheel to separate from the car at 4:36 p.m. Oct. 16. The vehicle then left the road, hitting a utility pole. Bartel was charged with no proof of insurance or registration. Neither Bartel or his two passengers were reported as injured.

A 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Olivo Godinez, 50, Marion, and owned by Anjanette Vinduska, Marion, struck a deer at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 18.

300 block of N. Ash St.
A 2001 Dodge Durango driven by Morgan Miller, 15, Hillsboro, owned by Brandon Toon, Hillsboro, allegedly struck a 2006 Hyundai Accent owned by Kendra Saenz and driven by Kalleigh Saenz, 18, Hillsboro, while backing out of a parking spot at 314 N. Ash St. in Hillsboro.
100 block of N. Main St.
A 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kermit Ratzlaff, 94, Hillsboro, allegedly sideswiped a 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche owned by Gary Tibbetts, Hillsboro, at 1:10 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 100 block of N. Main St. Ratzlaff was issued a citation for improper backing resulting in a non-injury accident
