Accident reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

190th Rd. east of Nighthawk Rd.

Brian Nickel, 34, Hillsboro, struck and killed a deer with a 2017 Chevrolet 2500 owned by Geico Fleet Trust of Hillsboro at 6:55 a.m. Oct. 20.

US-56 west of Old Mill Rd.

Brandon Crooks, 33, Galva, struck and killed a deer with a 2002 Ford Ranger at 8 a.m. Oct. 20.

Goldenrod Rd. south of US-56

Matthew Sneed, 17, Lehigh, was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee owned by Patti Wachs of Lehigh when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and slid into the east ditch, coming to rest on a concrete culvert at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 14. A section of fence owned by Ronald Bartel of Hillsboro was damaged. Deputy Derek Calvert issued citations for failing to remain with the vehicle after the accident and failure to provide insurance.

30th Rd. west of Quail Creek Rd.

Andrew Hauck, 15, Burns, was driving 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier when he reportedly hit a ridge of gravel, lost control, and overturned into a ditch at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 19. Hauck was not injured. The vehicle was towed.

K-15 south of 370th Rd.

Laura Gibbs, 59, Abilene, struck a deer with her 2015 Buick Enclave at 6:59 a.m. Oct. 21.

US-56 east of K-15

Tina Haga, 52, Lehigh, struck a deer with her 2009 Nissan Murano at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. The vehicle was towed.

240th Rd. east of Yarrow Rd.

Justine Farris, 27, Marquette, was driving a 2009 Pontiac G6 on a muddy dirt road at 10:40 p.m. Oct. 21 when she reportedly lost control and went into a ditch, striking a barbwire fence owned by Ed Vinduska of Lincolnville. The accident was reported three days later when the vehicle was discovered at 5:41 p.m. Oct. 24. Two child passengers, ages 3 and 2, were not injured. The vehicle was towed.
