These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

140th Rd. east of Nighthawk Rd.

Wanda L. Williams, 89, rural Marion, hit a deer at 8:23 p.m. July 9 with her 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, according to one of two accident reports released Thursday by the sheriff’s office.

Damage to the right front of her car was characterized as minor.

US-50 north of 110th Rd.

Michael Baumgartner, 50, Junction City, hit a deer at 10:22 a.m. July 15 with his 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, which sustained disabling damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage and was towed.

HILLSBORO

Ash St. west of D St.

Pulling out of his driveway at 1:29 p.m. Friday, Caulin R. James, 20, Hillsboro, backed a 2005 Ford F-150 into the side of a northbound 2019 GMC Terrain owned and driven by Andrew W. Pschigoda, 47, Hillsboro.

Damage to the right rear bumper of the Ford, owned by Ayden B. Brammer of James’ address, was characterized as minor. The GMC sustained damage characterized as more extensive to its left front quarter panel but remained drivable.

Assistant chief Randy Brazil’s report blamed the wreck on improper backing. James was ticketed for not having a current license plate and for having only a restricted Oklahoma driver’s license.

MARION

Lawrence and Freeborn Sts.

While trying to exit a construction site at 8:25 a.m. July 13, Andrew S. Davis, 34, Florence, drove the left rear wheel of a 2004 Mack concrete mixer owned by Builders Concrete of Newton over a City of Marion fire hydrant.
