The first Silver and Gold adult Girl Scout reunion of area Flint Hills Scouts was Nov. 3 at the Double E Campgrounds in Emporia.

Lifetime Girl Scouts Betty Sanders, daughters Carol Laue of Marion and Christine Laue of Omaha, Neb., and Eileen Sieger of Marion were in attendance.

The beautiful fall afternoon afforded those present the opportunity of enjoying hiking, lashing a table, crafts, and reviewing pictures and scrapbooks. Carol and Christine especially enjoyed reminiscing with fellow Girl Scout, Kristi (Enos) Wright of Emporia.

A potluck supper and hot dog cookout concluded the evening. This year marks the 100th year of Girl Scouting in America.
