City and county officials and Area Agency on Aging staff joined seniors who attended the 57th annual meeting of Senior Citizens of Marion County at the center Oct. 19. Marion High School Singers performed, and nine “senior stars in nursing” were recognized. Sally Andrews was guest speaker.

The Harvest House group ate lunch at the center Oct. 12.

Janet Bryant shared a positive report from the Area Agency in Aging after a yearly evaluation of the center.

The Aulne United Methodist Church birthday group ate at the center Oct. 18. They were celebrating the birthdays of Joyce Olsen, Verna Gervais, and Linda Pettijohn.

Dawn Miller of Angels Care Home Health will present the program, “Enjoy Fitness at Any Age,” on Nov. 1.
