Animal will be remembered
To the editor:
I, like so many others, really enjoyed the little cavy while it was with us and felt the horror of the way it died. It was in our yard that day the dogs attacked it.
I want to share something with those people who felt the way I did.
A friend had given me a picture and I wrote a short history about the animal and sent it to my great-granddaughter in Billings, Mont., to share with her schoolmates. It was appreciated very much by them and it gave me closure.
It is doubtful that any of us will ever see another one.
