Ann Roehrman

Ann M. Roehrman, 81, of Herington, died Jan. 8, 2009, at Herington Municipal Hospital.

Born June 14, 1927, at Lincolnville, she was the daughter of Herman H. and Emma E. (Kaiser) Henke.

She was a homemaker.

She married Vernon E. Roehrman June 18, 1950, in Lincolnville. He preceded her in death Oct. 25, 2002. She also was preceded by a sister, Esther Bowman, an infant brother, and her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Lois Whitebread; two sons, Daryl Roehrman of Dodge City and Robert “Bobby” Roehrman of Salina; two sisters, Leona Reiman of Hay Springs, Neb., and Beatrice “Bea” Klein of Marion; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services were Monday afternoon at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Herington with the Reverend Troy Slater officiating.

Burial was at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established with the church or the Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University which can be sent in care of Penwell-Gable Funeral Home of Herington.
