Anna Marie Miller

Anna Marie (Tajchman) Miller of Andover passed away Aug. 4, 2016, after suffering a fall at home.

She was born July 26, 1931, near Tampa, Kansas. She taught school for 10 years in rural Marion County, as well as in Wichita and Andover. She married Gene Miller on August 18, 1952 in Pilsen, KS. They had two children, Joe Miller of Iola and Susan Farris of Andover.

Anna Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed polka dancing and ceramics. She volunteered as organist, choir director and as the coordinator of CCD.

Her parents, Joe and Rose Tajchman, and sister, Irene Tajchman, preceded her in death.

She is survived by husband, Gene, of the home, son and daughter-in-law Joe and Cheryl Miller, daughter Susan Farris, grandchildren Megan Cole, Mandy Roe, Melissa Kent, Tiffany Meairs, and Levi Farris, great-grandchildren Jazzlynn and Sajon Cole, and brothers Joe Tajchman and Ed Tajchman and their families.

A Rosary was Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, and funeral was Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover.
