Kansas communities working to promote healthier environments for their residents are encouraged to apply for an award from the BlueCHIP community health improvement program. Applications must be received by Dec. 4.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and Kansas Recreation and Park Association are partnering for a sixth year to present awards. Up to six winning communities will receive $2,500 to assist in furthering their health and wellness efforts.
