As part of community involvement, Cooperative Grain and Supply and the Ampride stores in Hillsboro and Marion participated in the “Feeding Our Communities” program.

The program provided matching funds from the foundation to encourage local co-ops to donate funds to the area food banks.

For the fifth consecutive year, Cooperative Grain and Supply joined with the Land O’Lakes Foundation by matching donations to food banks in Marion, Hillsboro, Goessel, and Canton for a total of $4,364.

Cooperative Grain and Supply has participated in Land O’Lakes “Helping Rural Communities” since 2004 with over $50,854 — $33,818 given to various local community programs and $17,036 to area food banks.
