Marion County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant April 6 at a residence in Hillsboro. The warrant was issued for possession of narcotics.

Assistance was provided by Marion, Hillsboro, and Peabody police departments, Kansas Highway Patrol, and Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

As the result of the warrant, many items were seized and one individual was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail, Sheriff Rob Craft reported.

“The cooperation of all law enforcement agencies involved contributed substantially to the effectiveness of the operation,” Craft said.
