CORRESPONDENTS:   Auxiliary hears about whole grains

St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary met Nov. 3.

Mary Beth Bowers gave a presentation on the importance of using whole grains. As part of her presentation, Bowers shared homemade whole-wheat bread with the group.

St. Luke Hospital CEO Jeremy Armstrong said phase III of expansion and renovation is nearing completion but is a few days behind schedule.

District 4 Auxiliary Coordinator Toni Dreiling told the group that she cites St. Luke as a poster child — a need was identified, and people worked to fill the need.

The auxiliary’s annual meeting will be Jan. 19 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion. Contact Eileen Sieger to make reservations.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Dec. 1.
