Barbara J. Rockhold, 73, of Marion, died Aug. 10 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Unit at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

She was a longtime resident of Chase County, and had lived in Marion the past few years.

Her parents; her husband, Cecil Rockhold; a son, Keith Nelson; a daughter, Debra Lynn Nelson; and a sister, Doris Ross, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Nelson Jr. of Marion; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be at a later date.

Cochran Mortuary and Crematory, 1411 N Broadway St, Wichita 67214 is in charge of the service.
