Tessa Lane Bauer and Derek Allen Mayfield were married July 11 at Celebration Community Church, Hays. The Rev. Kyle Ermoian officiated.

Cindy Bauer of Hays and Dale and Lisa Mayfield of Hillsboro are parents of the couple. Grandmothers are Faye Bauer of Hays and Karon Hess of Marion.

The bride was escorted by her mother.

Tara Comerci, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were DeLynn Rice, a friend of the couple, and Lauryn Mayfield and Taryn Mayfield, sisters of the groom.

Best man was Brant Rice, a friend of the couple. Drew Gannon, Kael Bloom, and Brooks Wachs, friends of the groom, were groomsmen.

Ushers were Ben Comerci, brother-in-law of the bride, Adam Long, cousin of the bride, Mark Vinduska, cousin of the groom, and Tony Trotter, friend of the groom.

Flower girl was Chloe Rice. Landy and Kelby Rice were ring bearers.

A reception and dance were held following the ceremony at Ramada Inn, Hays.

The bride is a graduate of Hays High School and a student at Fort Hays State University.

Her husband is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Fort Hays State University. He is employed by Celebration Community Church and Home Depot.

The couple traveled to Dayton Beach and Orlando for their honeymoon and live in Hays.
