Betty Thompson

Betty Lee Thompson, 92, of Cedar Point, died June 20 at Peabody Care Center.

Born Aug. 4, 1918, in Cedar Point, to Benton Scott and Hattie May (Vinson) Thompson, she was a farmer and a stockwoman.

Her parents and siblings — William and Jake Thompson, Susie Robinson, Bertha Fischer, Irene Link, and Mildred Gibb — preceded her in death.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Burial will be in Wonsevu Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established with Cedar Point School and American Cancer Society in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St, Marion KS 66861.
