Beverly Cooper

Beverly A. Cooper, 75, died April 18, 2012, at Kidron Bethel Healthcare after a short battle with lung cancer.

She was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Thomas and Ila Juanita (Watkins) Eberson. She was a retired bank teller for Sedgwick State Bank and a real estate agent for Century 21.

She married Loren Thomas Cooper on Feb. 5, 1959, in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.

She is also survived by four sons, Colten Cooper of Goessel and Jason Cooper of Newton, Weston Cooper of Rochester, Mich, Cameron Cooper of Houston, Texas; one stepson, Larry Cooper of Longmont, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Sidney Cooper of Florida; one sister, Sandre Krehbiel of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service was Saturday at Peterson Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Ingmire presiding. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Visitation was Friday at Peterson Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Peterson Funeral Home.
