Billie Jo Wheeler

Billie Jo Wheeler, 78, died May 29 at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.

She was born June 7, 1932, at Augusta, to William and Mary (Hartup) Wheeler.

She moved to Marion in 1959 and worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Luke Hospital, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Marion Christian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Ramona Howard and a brother, Emery Wheeler of Gardner; and nieces and nephews.

An inurnment service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
