Billy Wayne Lucas, 84, of Marion died Monday at Peabody Care Center.

He was born March 30, 1928, in Marion to Art and Zula (Buford) Lucas. He was a retired employee of the City of Marion and a member of Marion Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Eugene.

He is survived by a sister, Doris Schmersey of Wichita.

His funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion. Interment will be in Marion Cemetery.
