Shania Ford, a Marlin (Texas) High School senior, has been awarded a track scholarship to attend Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Ford is one of the state’s top prep performers at 800 meters and 400 meters, and also runs on a 4x400 relay.

She is the daughter of Eule and Angie Ford of Marlin, and the granddaughter of Lavern and Harriett Bina of Marion and Gloria Ford of St. Louis, Missouri.
