There will be a blood drive for the American Red Cross from 2:15 to 6:45 p.m. Monday at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion. Appointments may be made by calling (800) 733-2767, and walk-ins are welcome. Blood donors are encouraged to drink extra fluids before donating and to be aware of any low-iron conditions.

People who can’t donate blood but wish to help can contribute to the canteen fund to provide staff, blood donors, and volunteers with food at the blood drive.
