Brenda K. Reed, 50, of Lawrence, died Jan. 30 at her home.

She was born Sept. 9, 1960, in Newton, to John F. and Virginia L. (Lueker) Reed.

She was employed by U.S. Bank at Overland Park.

She grew up in Herington, graduating from Herington High School in 1978.

Her father, John Reed, grandparents Richard and Helen Reed and Gus and Esther Lueker preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Reed of Newton; and three sisters, Janice Crowder of Enterprise, Donna of Topeka, and Nita Baird of Herington.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Herington. The Rev. Troy Slater will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lincolnville Cemetery.
