To the editor:

Bob Brookens, our state representative for the 70th District, is a longtime acquaintance.

Through the years he has been active in his support of community affairs. He is dedicated, forthright, and honest. We are fortunate to have him representing us by carrying the same values to Topeka.

Bob has kept lines of communication open and has been timely in keeping in touch with his constituents.

When I have contacted him about legislative bills and issues, I have always received a prompt reply. He kept me posted on the subject and reported the outcome immediately after the decision.

Please join me in casting a vote Tuesday to re-elect Bob Brookens.
