Visitors of Darlene Gutsch at Herington Municipal Hospital Sept. 29 were Perry and Amy Gutsch, Anthony, and Whitney of Herington and Gayla Deines of Ramona. Visitors the next day were Irvin and Audine Strand, Perry Gutsch, and Shirley Geist of Herington and Gayla Deines, Justin, and Jessica of Ramona. Marie Anderson of Burdick and Perry Gutsch visited Friday evening. Ruth Riggin and Julie Sader of Salina were Saturday afternoon visitors. They had attended a family reunion at Herington Lake.
Forrest and Marie Anderson visited Goldie Steely Thursday at Sterling House in Salina. John and Sara Kaussman of Pryor, Okla., visited Forrest and Marie Anderson last week.
American Legion and Auxiliary Veterans Affair Coffee Tour will be Saturday afternoon at the post home.
Dean Forsberg visited Evelyn Forsberg Sept. 29 and Friday morning. Harry Schump of Herington visited Evelyn Sept. 29. Other afternoon visitors were Gene and Jan Burns and Jan’s mother from Salina. Savannah Hicks was a dinner guest of Evelyn Forsberg on Friday.
Congratulations to Katie Remy, daughter of Tom and Lynley Remy and granddaughter of Elinor Remy, who was crowned homecoming queen Sept. 24 at Centre High School.
Burdette and Maureen Peterson stayed in Derby Saturday, watching Rigo and Mario Salazar play soccer. They also visited Jenny Schrader, Shae, and Hunter. Grandma Maureen played dentist and pulled one of Hunter’s front teeth. Maureen took Kyler and Chelsea Cowart to the Herington football game at Bennington Friday night. Kyler is manager of the football team.
