Roger, Rolland, and Lois Peterson accompanied Gene and Marie Thorton of Abilene Thursday to visit and have dinner with Wanda Peterson in Wichita.

Charles and Arlene Carlson attended a cookout and birthday party celebrating Noah Brunner’s first birthday Aug. 1 at the home of Kent and Jean Brunner. Attending were Nolan and Melissa Brunner, Sarah Fenske and daughter of Herington, Mike and Linda Carlson, Jill and Tucker Brunner of Emporia, and many others.

Dan and Linda Peterson went to Columbia, Mo., Aug. 11 to be with their son Jeff Peterson who had surgery Thursday morning. Linda reports that he is still in a lot of pain, but might get to come home today.
Tye and Elinor Remy went to Manhattan Thursday and had lunch out together at Junction City.
Harry Schump was a dinner guest Sunday of Evelyn Forsberg. Dean Forsberg was an afternoon visitor.
Eloy and Andrea (Carlson) Mendosa of Derby are the parents of twin girls Katherine Ann and Layla Mae born Friday. They weighed 5 pounds each. Duane and Karen Carlson of Lincolnville are the grandparents and Joyce and Ruth Ann Carlson of Lincolnville are the great-grandparents.
