Burdick United Methodist Women will meet at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the fellowship hall of the church.
Bertha (Gutsch) Harrison will celebrate her 102nd birthday Friday. Her granddaughter, Catherine Rickbone of Newport, Ore., will host a party for her at 2:30 p.m. Friday at a retirement home.
Clint and Diana Jost and James Jost were guests of Naomi Nelson and Tom Nelson for supper out Friday in Hillsboro. Tom Leighy, Isaac, and Mary joined the group for supper.
There will not be a Burdick Senior Citizens meeting this month.
Dean Forsberg visited Evelyn Forsberg on Jan. 3 and 7.
Marjorie Erickson is now living at Medicalodges in Herington.
Steve and Annelle Jost of Hillsboro were guests Sunday of Clint and Diana Jost.
Gary Hageberg remains a patient at Herington Municipal Hospital, recovering from a broken hip and receiving therapy.
Evelyn Forsberg hosted a supper Thursday. Guests were Jane Rickenbrode, Wade, and Morgan of Council Grove; Harry Schump of Herington; Willy and Savannah Hicks; and Dean and Nanette Forsberg. They celebrated Jane’s birthday.
Lorene Hawkinson and Elmer Otte of the Burdick area died this past week.
Clint and Diana Jost visited Gary Hageberg on Jan. 2 at Herington Municipal Hospital. They went to Hillsboro to visit Lorene Jost and ate supper with Steve and Annelle Jost.
