Some of those visiting Gary and Marilyn Hageberg this past week were Forrest and Marie Anderson who brought food Feb. 2. Forrest returned in the afternoon and visited. John Roniger of Diamond Springs, Calif., visited Thursday evening. Mike and Linda Carlson visited Saturday evening and Perry Gutsch was a visitor Sunday.

Walt and Katherine Otte visited Lois Peterson Sunday afternoon.

Dean Forsberg was a visitor Feb. 2 and Friday morning of Evelyn Forsberg.

The seventh annual valentine benefit and auction will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday with soups, breads, and desserts at Burdick United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. To make a donation or for more information, call Nancy Riggin at (785) 983-4493. The auction will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the church benevolent fund. Items for the auction include cinnamon rolls, pies, cakes, candy, handmade items, gifts for Valentine’s Day, and two tickets for the Kansas State University-University of Missouri basketball game Feb. 26.

Perry Gutsch of Herington was a Sunday morning visitor of Darlene Gutsch. He helped her with some chores.

Elinor Remy and Leona Anderson attended the funeral of Lucille Diepenbrock Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington.

Savannah Hicks visited Evelyn Forsberg late Saturday afternoon.

Marilyn Peterson and Lois Peterson visited Ruth Riggin Sunday at Holiday Resort in Salina.

Clint and Diana Jost and Jack and Nancy Riggin watched the Super Bowl game Sunday at the home of Terry and Kathy Silhan. Other guests were Rick and Barb Hanschu. This was the 20th year for the couples to watch the game together.

Evelyn Forsberg visited Harry Schump Sunday morning at his home in Herington. They later went to church and ate dinner out together.

Al and Lee Shade visited Al’s mother Sunday at Sedgwick Healthcare Center in Sedgwick. She celebrated her 88th birthday.

Shirley Miller of Herington is representative with International Student Exchange.

Forrest and Marie Anderson helped Alice Peterson of Herington celebrate her birthday Sunday.

Steve and Annelle Jost of Hillsboro were supper guests Friday of Clint and Diana Jost.
