Rachel Nelson of Kansas City graduated from the University of Kansas, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. Tom and Naomi Nelson attended the ceremony Friday at the Leids Center in Lawrence.

Perry Gutsch of Herington was a visitor of Darlene Gutsch Saturday, bringing some items that she needed. Perry and Anthony visited Friday. Anthony did yard work and Perry watered flowers and some other chores for Darlene.

Ron and Jenny Schrader, Shae, and Hunter of Wichita spent the weekend with Burdette and Maureen Peterson.

Dean Forsberg was an afternoon visitor May 16 and Thursday of Evelyn Forsberg.

Mike and Linda Carlson were visitors Sunday of Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Dean and Ethan Forsberg were afternoon visitors Friday of Evelyn Forsberg. Charles and Arlene Carlson were dinner guests Sunday of Kent and Jean Brunner.

Evelyn Forsberg was an afternoon visitor Saturday of Harry Schump in Herington.

Arlene Carlson went home Friday after being a patient at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City for several days.

Burdick Senior Citizens met Friday at the legion hall with 16 seniors present. They ate a catered lunch and held a business meeting. The next meeting will be June 17.

Chris Cowart of California spent a few days visiting his children, Cuyler and Chelsea Cowart. Chris and Cuyler went turkey hunting.

Perry Gutsch, Anthony, and Whitney were afternoon visitors Sunday of Darlene Gutsch. Anthony mowed the lawn, Perry did edging and watered flowers, and Whitney visited with Darlene.

It was erroneously reported that Lee and Al Shade visited their new neighbor; it was Forrest and Marie Anderson who visited.
