Charles and Arlene Carlson were dinner guests Sunday of Kent and Jean Brunner in Ramona. Other guests were Nolan and Melissa Brunner, Leah, and Noah of Herington, and Jill Brunner and Tucker of Emporia. The group was celebrating the seventh wedding anniversary of Nolan and Melissa.

Perry Gutsch visited Darlene Gutsch on Friday and brought her some medicine.

Maureen Peterson went to Halstead on Friday and Saturday to watch Shae Schrader train in a basketball tournament.

Harry Schump was a visitor June 6 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Celebrating Charles and Arlene Carlson’s 65th wedding anniversary with them Thursday were Jean Brunner, Noah, and Tucker, and Mike and Linda Carlson. Clint and Diana Jost were also visitors.

Ethan Forsberg visited Evelyn Forsberg on Saturday.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson were supper guests Sunday of Bret and Lisa Beye, Cuyler, and Chelsea in Herington. Other guests were Cesar and Kelli Salazar, Rigo, and Mario of Derby. Mario and Rigo will spend the week with Bret and Lisa Beye and attend swimming lessons.

Perry Gutsch, Anthony, and Whitney brought supper to Darlene Gutsch on Sunday.

Dean Forsberg, Ethan Forsberg, and Harry Schump ate dinner Sunday with Evelyn Forsberg.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson attended a dance recital Thursday in Herington to see Chelsea Cowart perform.

Burdick Senior Citizens will meet Friday at noon at the Legion Hall for dinner and a meeting.

Many attended the free movie Friday at the tennis court sponsored by Burdick United Methodist Church. There will be a monthly free movie night during the summer.

Guests of Evelyn Forsberg June 3 were Nanette Forsberg, Ethan Forsberg, Savannah Hicks, and Sabrina Dunkin and sons of Rose Hill.

Perry Gutsch and Whitney were visitors June 5 of Darlene Gutsch. They watered her plants and did some chores.

Evelyn Forsberg was a guest of Harry Schump June 4 at Herington.

Tom Remy, Katie, and Tad were dinner guests May 30 of Elinor Remy.

A group ate dinner out June 1 at Lost Springs. They were Harry Schump of Herington, Nanette Forsberg, Logan, Konnor, Garrett, and Hunter Dunkin, Nancy Hickman, Savannah Hicks, and Evelyn Forsberg.

Jim Peterson and Lois Peterson visited Ruth Riggin May 31 at Holiday Resort in Salina.

Vacation Bible school for children preschool through sixth-grade will be 1:30 to 4 p.m. June 20 through 23 at Burdick United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The theme is “Country Time.” All children are invited to attend.
