Burdick Council of Clubs met July 13. Members in attendance included president Burdette Peterson, vice president Nancy Hanson, secretary-treasurer Connie Johnson, Lee Shade, Gloria Martin, Glenn Carlson, and Wayne Hanson. The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Aug. 1.

Dean Forsberg was a dinner guest July 11 and 12 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Pat and C.J. Baker of Lawrence brought Neva Peterson of Salina to Burdick to stay at her home for the July 4 weekend. Darrel and Candace Denault were visiting relatives in Nashville.

Tom and Lynley Remy, Elinor Remy, and Brian Olson of Salina attended the funeral Thursday for Dwain Neustrom at St. John’s Catholic Church, Herington.

Jean Brunner was an afternoon visitor Saturday of Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Keith and Diana Miller stayed a few days this past week with Lois Peterson.

Burdick Senior Citizens met Friday at Burdick United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall for dinner and a meeting. Sixteen members attended. The next meeting will be noon Aug. 19.

Lee Shade visited Darlene Gutsch on Friday afternoon. She brought a plate of food from the senior citizen dinner.

Savannah Hicks and Dean Forsberg were visitors July 13 of Evelyn Forsberg.

C.J. and Pat Baker and Neva Peterson were supper guests Thursday of Jack and Nancy Riggin. Others who visited the Bakers and Neva were Marc Riggin and Cole Baker of Lawrence, and Keith and Diana Miller of Grand Junction, Colo.

Sunday guests of Lois Peterson and her houseguests, the Millers, were Jim and Marilyn Peterson, Phil and Jamie Peterson, and Roger and Rolland Peterson.

Mike Couch of the National Weather Bureau in Topeka visited Evelyn Forsberg Thursday afternoon.

Glenn Carlson visited Evelyn Forsberg late Friday afternoon.

Perry Gutsch of Herington was a visitor Sunday afternoon of Darlene Gutsch.

Visitors of Evelyn Forsberg Saturday morning were Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove and Ethan Forsberg.

Lois Peterson and her houseguests, the Millers, were supper guests July 13 of Gene and Marie Thorton at Abilene.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were dinner guests Sunday of Kent and Jean Brunner at Ramona. Other guests were Nolan and Melissa Brunner, Leah and Noah of Herington and Jill Brunner and Tucker of Emporia.

Saturday evening visitors of Lois Peterson and Keith and Diana Miller were Burdette and Maureen Peterson. Jim and Marilyn Peterson; Phil and Jamie Peterson, Matt and Jamie Dalke, Reagen and Tyler of Chapman; and John and Adrienne Richard and Judah visited Thursday evening.

Evelyn Forsberg attended a family dinner Saturday at a restaurant in Council Grove for Logan Dunkin’s sixth birthday. Evelyn visited Harry Schump Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon at Herington. On her way home Sunday, she visited Darlene Gutsch.

Lois Peterson and Keith and Diana Miller went to Salina Saturday to visit Ruth Riggin and Lyal and Julie Sader.
