Burdick Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the Legion hall for a catered meal and a program following.

The Burdick Hebron Lutheran Church will not have services Sunday. The congregation is asked to join St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herington for the service and a program.

Dean Forsberg was a dinner guest Dec. 8 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Mary Deane Peterson and Bill and Judy Peterson of Herington were guests Sunday of Dave and Sara Denly, Abby and Ben. They were celebrating Abby’s fourth birthday.

Gayla Deines was a morning visitor Saturday of Darlene Gutsch. Deines brought some supplies and helped Gutsch with household chores.

Savannah Forsberg was an afternoon visitor Friday of Evelyn Forsberg.

A group of Methodist youths and adults, along with Janet Matz and the Rev. Jay and Donna Beck, went Christmas caroling Sunday. In addition to singing, they left a Christmas tin of fruit, cookies, and candy.

Erin Peterson of Guymon, Okla., and Scott Peterson of El Dorado were weekend visitors of Mary Deane Peterson.

The Burdick United Methodist Church’s annual children’s Christmas program will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended a party Sunday hosted by Marcella Hermstein in Herington.

Evelyn Forsberg was a visitor Sunday of Harry Schump in Herington. They went out for dinner and visited during the afternoon.

Lois Peterson and Roger and Rolland Peterson went Friday to Junction City to visit Gene and Marie Thorton. The group went out to dinner and celebrated Roger and Rolland’s birthdays.

The Burdick 4-H Club members and leaders went caroling Sunday afternoon and evening.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson attended a program their grandchildren, Shea and Hunter Schrader, Sunday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Wichita. Ron and Jenny Schrader are their parents.

Special ed board to meet

Marion County Special Education Cooperative Board of Directors will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the Special Education Cooperative Conference Room at 1500 E. Lawrence St., Marion.
