There was a large crowd attending the Burdick United Methodist Church valentine supper and auction at the church basement. The food was delicious. A sizeable sum of money was donated for food and auction items for the Benevolent Fund. A variety of baked goods, decorated cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, candy, cinnamon rolls, flowers, gift baskets, toys, beef jerky, jelly, jewelry, roofing material dirt work, craftwork, and furniture brought a lot of spirited bidding. Helping with the auction were Galen Peterson, Byron Bina, and Bob Kickhaefer. We appreciate all who furnished food, auction items, labor, and of course, those who attended and donated so generously. A big vote of thanks to the planners.

Harry Schump was a Saturday afternoon visitor of Evelyn Forsberg.
