Ethan Forsberg of Tulsa, Okla., and Dean Forsberg were Monday morning visitors of Evelyn Forsberg. Earl and Ruth Forsberg were Monday afternoon visitors.

Evelyn Forsberg was a Tuesday morning guest of Mary Deane Peterson.

Cuyler and Chelsea Cowart of Herington stayed with Burdette and Maureen Peterson Thursday through Sunday while Lisa Beye accompanied a group of girls from Centre High School to an FCCLA conference in Minneapolis, Minn.

Forrest and Marie Anderson visited Mary Deane Peterson Thursday morning.

Harry Schump and Dean Forsberg were Tuesday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg.

Pat Miller and Joyce Roever of Herington brought supper to Mary Dean Peterson Friday and spent the evening.

Weekend guests of Burdette and Maureen Peterson were Ron and Jenny Schrader, Shea and Hunter of Wichita. They enjoyed the pancake feed Saturday at Burdick Legion Hall.

Evelyn Forsberg and Harry Schump of Herington attended the funeral Wednesday of their cousin, Jane Miles, of Abilene.

Mary Deane Peterson’s Saturday visitors were Jenny Schrader and Shea of Wichita, Cuyler and Chelsea Cowart of Herington, Josie Peterson of Lincolnville, Maureen Peterson, and Nancy Hanson.

Evelyn Forsberg hosted a dinner Friday evening with guests Harry Schump, cousins Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swanson of Anchorage, Alaska, Lucille Mederios and Leona Rosalis of Bremerton, Wash., and Mary Biondalino of Carthage, Ill. Afternoon visitors were Earl and Ruth Schump of Herington and Dean and Nanette Forsberg.

Joyce and Ruth Ann Carlson of Lincolnville visited Forrest and Marie Anderson one evening last week.

Jane Rickenbrode, Morgan and Wade and Wade’s friend, Madison Marsh, of Council Grove, were Saturday afternoon visitors of Evelyn Forsberg.

Mary Deane Peterson was a Sunday supper guest of Burdette and Maureen Peterson. They celebrated Burdette’s birthday.

Darlene Gutsch accompanied Gayla Deines and Jessica Denies of Manhattan to a pre-Thanksgiving Day dinner Sunday noon at the Girl Scout cabin at McPherson Park. The dinner was hosted by the Raymond Gottstein family.

Others from the area who attended were Lynley Remy and Katie of Lost Springs, Tye Remy and Bryant Gutsch, both of Manhattan, and John and Sue Gutsch and Scott and Sharon Gutsch of Lincolnville. There were 38 Gutsch relatives who enjoyed the bountiful dinner, photographs, and visiting.

Evelyn Forsberg was a Sunday visitor of Harry Schump of Herington.

Burdick United Methodist Church hosted the annual Charge Conference meeting at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Churches represented were Valley United Methodist Church and Eastmoor United Methodist Church, both in Marion, Lincolnville United Methodist Church, and Burdick United Methodist Church. Sixty to 70 were present at the meeting. District Superintendent Rick Saylor of Hutchinson conducted the meeting. After various committee meetings, refreshments were served.
