The time is drawing near when advance sale of buttons for Chingawassa Days June 5-7 in Marion will end.

Buttons are $25 in advance through Sunday. After that, buttons are $35.

The all-access concert button will allow festival-goers to attend all Friday night events, including a barbecue, ice cream social, and concert featuring Six Appeal, Co-Dependents, and national recording rock group Foghat.

All Saturday events including a magic show, belly dancers, a Texas Hold’em Tournament, children’s inflatable games and rides, spam carving contest, watermelon feed, and bingo also are accessible with a button.

The highlight of Saturday is a concert by country music artists The Bellamy Brothers followed by a fireworks show.

A community church service will be at 10:30 a.m. at USD 408 Performing Arts Center.

A $5 day pass is available on Saturday. Children 10 and under are free anytime during the weekend with an adult admission.

Buttons are available at Marion National Bank, Central National Bank in Marion and Hillsboro, Marion Healthmart Pharmacy, City of Marion, Marion Chamber of Commerce, Western Associates, Carlsons’ Grocery, Tampa State Bank, and G&J Video, or call 382-3425.
