5 p.m. —Taco salad meal at Farmer’s Market in Memorial Park, Hillsboro. Sponsored by Parkside Homes.

SATURDAY

8 a.m. — Putting contest and two-man scramble, Pine Edge Golf Course, Goessel.

All day — Citywide curbside cleanup, Goessel. Hazardous waste trailer at 101 S. Cedar, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

6:30 p.m. — Chat and Dine. Participants are asked to bring table service, lawn chairs, and a dish to share. East Shelter, Marion County Park and Lake.

SUNDAY

7 p.m. — Belated Independence celebration. Program, ice cream social, and fireworks at dark. Aulne United Methodist Church.

MONDAY

7 p.m. —Family history and genealogy group, Mennonite Heritage and Agricultural Museum, Goessel.

TUESDAY

10 a.m. — Free magic show by magician Shawn Reida, Marion Community Center. Sponsored by Marion City Library and Tampa State Bank.

Noon — Meet Hillsboro’s new economic developer, Anthony Roy. Lunch will be provided by Pizza Hut for $7, Scout House, Memorial Park. RSVP by June 7 to hillsborochamber@hillsboro-kansas.com.
