The U.S. Corps of Engineers last week announced campground closures for the winter at Marion Reservoir. Some campsites in all campgrounds will remain open.

No fees will be charged beginning Nov. 2 and all sites will be available on a walk-in basis only (no reservations). All other regulations remain in effect, including the 14-day camping limit.

Water service to campsites will be turned off on Nov. 2, and water-borne restrooms will be closed as well. Vault restrooms will remain open and electrical service will remain on.
